On March 17, the NSF NeXUS team welcomed a group from Intel as part of a campus-wide tour of some of Ohio State’s most cutting-edge research facilities with implications for the field of semiconductor research and development. The Intel team toured the NeXUS lab and learned about the project’s progress, goals and capabilities. The following day, Intel announced that it will invest $100 million over the next decade in semiconductor education and research collaborations, including $50 million earmarked specifically for Ohio higher education institutions.
