Two more key pieces of equipment were installed in the NeXUS Lab last month. The custom-built high harmonic generation (HHG) chambers are designed to accept light from the NeXUS laser and output extreme ultraviolet (XUV) light to the NeXUS System’s experimental end stations.
In the photograph below, the chamber in the foreground will supply XUV light to the XAS/XRS end station, while the chamber in the background will service the STM end station.
