Register for our July 15th Open Call Meeting
Proposal Deadline: August 18th
Call 2025b will be used to set the NSF NeXUS Facility experimental schedule for October 2025 through April 2026.

Proposers are strongly encouraged to discuss their experiment with us as early as possible to ensure feasibility and safety. Use this link, describe your idea, and we will connect you with the NeXUS scientist best matched to your proposal.
Step 2: Prepare Your Proposal
Use this Proposal Template (download and edit) to comply with proposal content and formatting requirements.
Step 3: Submit Your Proposal
You will need the following information to complete your submission:
1. Team Lead contact information
2. Names and ORCIDs of all PIs on the proposal
3. Proposal title
4. Experiment category
5. Names of NeXUS staff you have worked with in developing your proposal
6. Any weeks during the call period when you will be unavailable to work on your experiment
The Proposal Submission Form includes a link to upload a .pdf of your proposal. You will also be asked to agree to NSF NeXUS Terms & Conditions.
Next Steps:
1. An independent Proposal Review Panel will evaluate proposals based on criteria detailed in the Call Guide
2. Panel will submit award recommendations to NSF NeXUS
3. NSF NeXUS will establish lab schedule, notify team leads
