[Music] Today's Big 10 impact research takes us to Columbus, where a team of researchers led by professors Robert Baker and Lou DiMauro has built a laser facility that will take snapshots of electrons as they move through molecules and materials. The Nexus laboratory uses the laser technology that won the 2023 Nobel Prize in physics to capture how chemical reactions occur at the molecular level. This facility, supported by the National Science Foundation, is now open to researchers from around the world to learn how controlling electron motion will enable new technologies for chemical catalysis, energy storage, faster computing, and more.
